
Dr. Ann Kennedy
Senior Research Director for Project Management
Dr. Ann Kennedy joined the center as Senior Research Director for Project Management in 2022. Ann is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of the projects within the ISC and related schedules and activities within the center.
Before joining the ISC, Dr. Kennedy worked in ETS’ Center for Global Assessment, where she was project director of PISA for Development and for PISA 2022. Dr. Kennedy also served as a research project manager for the OECD’s Education & Skills Online and supported other PIAAC-related projects within the center. Between 2011 and 2013 Ann was an assessment specialist at ETS overseeing test development and scoring activities for NAEP Reading. Between 2000 and 2011 Dr. Kennedy was PIRLS Coordinator at the ISC. She holds an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/English from the Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree in Educational Measurement from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from Boston College.
