IEA's Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ; PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College released the results of Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ 2015 and Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ Advanced 2015 on November 29, 2016. The release marked 20 years of trends for Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ, which was first conducted in 1995. By reaching this milestone, Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ earns the distinction of establishing the longest trend line of any international education assessment. Approximately 600,000 students worldwide participated in Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ and Âé¶¹ÉçÊÓÆµ Advanced 2015, which provide country comparisons in mathematics and science achievement, and comprehensive data on the home and school contexts for teaching and learning those subjects.
